Black Glazed Bowl with Carved Floral Lid

A low, wide bowl in deep black glaze, paired with a hand-carved disc lid bearing an intricate floral relief — petals and leaves pressed into the clay before firing, emerging as a dark bas-relief against the glossy surface. The two pieces together become something more than functional: an object that rewards close looking.
